Highlights
• visual representation of the flow of heat using color systems, particles and lighting effects
• fresnel effects and post comp layering to see insides of ORC generator.
Challenges
Visualizing a very complex system in a manner easy to understand. The combination of moving parts and many pipes and routes made it hard to simplify into easily readable visuals.
Constraints
• A complex model not suited for animation and a tight deadline resulted in some long nights.
• The animation was short and had to incorporate a lot of processes visually in a quick way.
• The patented design of the system could not be shown completely
